You want to use the drum someone raised (nruag yug) not the drum someone made (nruag zoj). The raised one is usually one you can hit from both sides. The made one you can only hit on one side. When you barrow a drum from someone, remember that you are to never let it touch the floor. If you use the made drum, remember that the side that you hit must face the deceased person

Notebooks 2nd source used to record donation and write other notes
Envelopes 3.63 x 6.5 and 4.13 x 9.5 Used for people to put money into for donations and especially needed for Sunday when ua qhua
Parmenant Markers and Pens
Scissors
Duck Tape Used to tape specific things together at the funeral
Stapler and staples especially needed for Sunday when ua qhua

Paper Money and incense
Needed for Sunday when ua qhua, in many occassions people will forget so you should have some on hand
bottle opener Have several on hand if you plan on using bottled beer
small plastic cups used as shot glasses These items are disguarded after one use so make sure you purchase plenty
Regular 14 to 16 oz plastic cups Used for drinking. The item is disguarded after one use so make sure you purchase plenty
Long neck Lighter Needed for lighting ritual candles, cooking stoves, among other things
Name Tags holder & Name Tags Create a name tag for everyone who is assigned a tasks for the funeral
Trash bins and trash bags You can use a bucket as well

Notes :
Beer is better priced if you can find a place that sells Beer Kegs with refills
Pots and Pans for cooking are usually provided by the funeral home
Check to make sure the funeral home has poles to hold the Hmong Drum some have this and some don't
